OUR COURSE CLASSES — What Makes Them Unique

Created by Crystal Gibson, these classes are a rich fusion of everything pole: shaped by decades of real-life experience, creative industries, and soulful embodiment.

Born in America, raised by the world, and now grounded in the UK, Crystal has woven together a lifetime of movement — from electric raves & clubs of the early 2000s to LA recording sound stages, pole soirées & cabarets, dance shows, and film sets.

She has built pole touring companies, international travel and judging aerial shows, mentored dancers, performed under lights and shadows, and turned movement into a pathway of returning home to oneself.

At Fly Girls, it isn’t just about learning tricks. It’s about learning you.

Our courses carry the energy of lived experience — rooted in freedom, artistry, and embodied wisdom. They’re shaped by moments of reclaiming power, and now they’re here to help you do the same.

Each month, a new piece of choreography is created to awaken every part of you — flow to cultivate grace, tricks to build physical and mental strength, and sound that pulses through your body like confidence in motion.

We repeat the choreography weekly — not to perfect it, but to free it. Until one day, you move not just with skill, but with sovereignty: a free mover in your own body, through the transformative art of pole.

That’s the vibe. That’s Fly Girls. You’re not just taking a class — you’re stepping into your story.

  • Fly Girls Signature Pole Flow Course

Meditative Stretching, Pole Tricks & Flow — Ages 18+

Step into our softly lit red sanctuary, where the outside world fades and your body awakens. Pole Flow isn’t just a class—it’s a sensory journey. Over four weeks, you’ll move through a rhythm of feminine energy, self-expression, and embodied strength.

Each 60-minute session begins with a grounding warm-up inspired by Vinyasa yoga, Pilates, and meditation. Gentle breathwork shifts you inward, syncing mind and body. The warm, glowing space is designed to hold you in softness while you grow in confidence, strength, and sensual flow.

From there, you’ll explore pole techniques and transitions, gradually weaving them into flowing sequences. Each month introduces fresh choreography, ending with a creative twist in the final week. Whether you’re brand new or returning to your practice, you’ll be encouraged to move with intention, grace, and authenticity.

This isn’t just about learning tricks—it’s about trust. Trusting your body. Trusting the moment. Trusting your instincts. The pole becomes a mirror for presence, connection, and quiet power.

Why We Call It Pole Flow

Pole Flow is the art of moving with meaning. It’s not about performance—it’s about presence. Each class begins with breath-led movement, calming the nervous system and opening the door to flow. As you connect breath to action, your movement softens into seamless rhythm. Your grip strengthens. Your posture lifts. Your confidence rises.

It’s not instant—but when flow arrives, you feel it. It’s the moment your body whispers: I’m home.

✨ All levels welcome. No prior experience or upper-body strength needed — you’ll build it here. We offer grounded, grip-safe options before inverting becomes necessary.
✨ Our studio is proudly inclusive. LGBTQ+ students, neurodivergent movers, and sensory-conscious individuals are warmly welcomed.
✨ Founded and led by a neurodivergent owner, with neurodiverse staff who understand diverse ways of processing, moving, and learning.

Private 1:1 consultations are also available for those exploring gender-affirming movement or reconnective healing work.

    • Shorts & a fitted top (your biceps, shin, inner knee bones and thighs help with grip on the pole)

    • Bike shorts are great for beginners who want a bit more coverage

    • Knee pads are highly recommended, especially for floor transitions and flow

    • You can change at the studio before class

    • Pole Flow Course Structure

Our Pole Flow courses run in four-week blocks, with the same group attending each week.
This format creates consistency, builds trust, deepens body awareness, and allows for steady progress.

If you miss a class, you can reschedule within the same term through the GoTeamUp app. Simply sign out of your original class and email Fly Girls to arrange a catch-up session.

Please note: due to limited spaces, all course bookings are non-refundable.

We offer 13 course blocks each year (not 12), so our calendar flows seamlessly alongside the months.

Aerial Hoop w/Kya

Fridays 5:45PM

An aerial hoop, also known as a lyra, is a suspended ring that provides a unique opportunity for performers to engage in aerial acrobatics. Participants can benefit from this form of exercise in several ways: Over 16’s to Adult

  1. Strength Improvement: Aerial hooping engages multiple muscle groups, particularly the upper body and core. As individuals lift and maneuver their bodies through various positions, they develop significant strength over time.

  2. Enhanced Flexibility: The nature of aerial hoop exercises encourages stretching and elongation of the muscles. This practice promotes flexibility, allowing participants to achieve a broader range of motion.

  3. Better Coordination: Hooping requires a strong connection between mind and body. Practitioners learn to control their movements while maintaining balance and stability, which enhances overall coordination.

Overall, attending an aerial hoop class is an excellent way to combine fitness with creativity, offering both physical and mental rewards.

Stretching Class with Crystal

Tuesdays 8PM

With over 15 years of experience, Crystal brings a unique approach to stretching that’s designed for all ages and abilities. This class isn’t just about holding stretches — it’s about lengthening the muscles, building strength within the stretch, and understanding how your body moves.

💫 What makes it different?
We blend elements of Pilates, yoga, ballet, and kinesiology — the study of muscles and how they move from one to the next. You’ll learn about your connective tissue and myofascia (the web-like tissue that surrounds your muscles). Breaking down tight fascia is important because when it becomes sticky or restricted, it limits flexibility and creates tension in the body. We use simple, fun tools to release those restrictions so your body feels freer and lighter.

🔥 How the class flows:

Warm-up & myofascia release – using stretching tools to break down tension.

Full-body stretch training – sometimes we move from head to toe, other times we focus on specific areas like hips or shoulders.

End-of-range strength work – pulsing, engaging, and activating muscles to build control within your flexibility.

Stretch of the day – targeted focus to go deeper where it’s most needed.

Fun finish – we often end with a pose or small acro/partner challenge, to celebrate what your body can do (and snap a cute picture if you like!).

This is a class that not only helps you feel better in your body, but also teaches you why you’re doing each movement, so it makes sense and stays with you outside the studio.

Beginners+ Twerk with Luna

| Every other Thursday 8PM
✨ Open to all levels — no dance experience needed!

Twerk is a high-energy dance fitness style rooted in New Orleans’ Bounce culture of the late 1980s. In this class you’ll explore playful, powerful movement that blends rhythm, confidence, and cardio.

What to Expect:

  • Learn to bounce, roll, and isolate your hips.

  • Explore poses, transitions, and signature twerk moves

  • Move to a variety of music genres — it’s not just one style!

  • Celebrate expression, confidence, and strength in a fun, supportive vibe

💜 A note on history: Twerking traces back to Bounce culture, with roots even earlier in performers like Joséphine Baker — it’s a dance of liberation and joy.

👉 KNEEPADS are essential (volleyball pads work great and can be found online for under £10). First-time students may borrow studio pads.
